Wicked Doll

Oh my goodness. There was a new baby in the picture and I wonder if this wasn't a source of tension between Shon and Anthony. There had to be more to this than an argument over cigarettes.
Apparently Shon was stabbed several times. Some reports state that he had armed himself with a knife at some point during the argument.

Anthony G. Meyers
OSHKOSH, Wis. - A 19-year-old Oshkosh man has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide after his mother's boyfriend was stabbed to death.
Anthony G. Meyers was ordered held Monday on $300,000 cash bond.
Police responded to an Oshkosh home last week on a report of a domestic disturbance. They found 35-year-old Shon Potschaider stabbed in the chest and arm. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The criminal complaint quotes Meyers as saying he stabbed Potschaider after the two wrestled over a dispute about cigarettes. It says he told police he "did something stupid."
The complaint also quotes two of Meyers' friends as saying Meyers threatened Potschaider before stabbing him.

Shon's obituary
Shon A. Potschaider, 35, of Oshkosh died unexpectedly, on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born on July 9, 1973 in Oshkosh the son of Roger and Diana Pope Potschaider.
Survivors include his mother, Diana Pope; father, Roger (Debra) Potschaider; companion, Amy Meyers and her son, Hunter; grandparents, Howard S. Pope, Wyona Pope, Lois (Dean Lewis) Potschaider; step sister, Deena Raddatz; uncles, Bill Potschaider, Richard (Susan) Pope; aunt, Helen (Douglas) Bond; and other cousins, relatives and friends. Shon was preceded in death by grandfather, William Potschaider; great grandparents, Marie Posorske, Harvey and Madeline Westphal; and cousin, Billy Potschaider.
In loving memory of Shon from family and friends. Shon loved family, everyone was important to him. He had a kind heart and wanted to be there for everyone, be it big or small. He took after his grandpa for fishing and the tales did get bigger as time went on. He had the knowledge of the lake to get his fish and could he cook it up. He loved the big woods and could tell you the best spot to sit to see deer or his squirrels and he enjoyed his time with his dad. Shon learned early from his grandmas how to cook. Mom added spices and went from there. Shon was a spiritual person and always knew there was a bigger picture for him self and for all. He knew he needed the importance of taking care of the planet and all living creatures. Shon had a dream of owning his own fishing service. He would go fishing everyday if the weather was right. He recently had a new addition to the family and fell in love with Hunter before he was even born. He already took him fishing and wanted to teach him how to hunt. He also liked to play darts and his teams took 3rd and 4th place this year in league. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Remember his hugs and his great big smile. Shon we will love you and will miss you and there will never be another you. Until we meet again.
