In Brownsville, police are searching for a man who attacked his wife with a two by four piece of wood.

According to police 28 year-old David Bustos kicked open the front door to his house and started arguing with his wife. The argument escalated when he began punching her and then grabbed a 2x4 and beat her with it. The attack left her with several injuries including a broken arm and bruises on her face.

His 26-year-old wife called police Wednesday morning and accused her husband of brutally beating her with a 2-by-4, Rodriguez said. It is the policy of The Brownsville Herald not to publish the names of domestic violence victims.
The assault took place on Tuesday night when Bustos arrived home in the 300 block of Herlinda St. in an intoxicated state (http://www.brownsvilleherald.com/sections/valley-and-state/) and accused his wife of looking at another man, police said.

"Fearing for her safety she locked the door, but he kicked it open," Rodriguez said. "He began punching her in the face as she tried to protect herself. He then used a 2-by-4 piece of lumber and struck her in the face."
The woman used her arms to protect her head while the husband repeatedly swung the piece of wood at her causing a severe gash on her head, a broken left arm and bruising, police said.

That night the victim went to a Matamoros clinic for treatment and upon her return to Brownsville she called police, Rodriguez said.

"It's not the first time there's been violence in this household," the spokesman said.

Great another drunk possessive wife beater. One word for the wife. . .DIVORCE. The husband is unlikely to change, so she should get out while she can. Next time, and there will be one, he might beat her to death.

Yeah, just want to reiterate here:

The assault took place on Tuesday night when Bustos arrived home in the 300 block of Herlinda St. in an intoxicated state and accused his wife of looking at another man, police said.

Possessive isn't even the word. I could understand being mad if your wife fucked another man, or say, let another man lick your bellybutton or something... but LOOKING? Instead of beating her senseless with a chunk of wood, he should have just put some horse-blinders on her, or forced her to wear a blindfold when she's not within 10 feet of him. Sweet mother of shit, what a world we live in.

Looking at another man/woman (depending on the nature of the "look") warrants some discussion. Not a severe beating with a blunt object.

I like to look at the ladies too, so I don't mind when my man looks. Some may, and if so you shouldn't out and out ogle members of the opposite sex, but this guy went WAY overboard.

Yeah, You just publish their husbands name. So....Im guessing its Mrs Bustos?

Looking is not cheating. Looking is natural.

Some people are so insecure that other insecure people mistake it for love. Too sick for me.
