A two-year-old eastern Ontario boy is dead after being pulled from the fast-flowing, freezing water of a Brockville creek.

Brockville police said yesterday that Aaden Casey died Thursday at an Ottawa hospital.

Police Chief Adrian Geraghty says officers were still investigating how the toddler ended up in the water sometime around 12:30 p.m. earlier that day.

He says the boy was from a residence in the area and his parents were with him at the hospital.

Missing and then ending up in a creek. I'll never get how you can lose a toddler in your residence. :dong: I know I'm just guessing here because he lived near by and they reported him missing... but don't people watch their children? Can't wait to see the rest come out on this one...

How the hell does a toddler go missing and then ends up in a creek. I better stop before I start throwing stones at those who don't deserve it. Hope you keep this updated.

Hope you keep this updated. my opinion is around a they are quick and curios c reek, lake or river keep an eye on their children it only takes a second for them to disappear. That's great that you was with him at the hospital but you should 'ave kept your eyes on him around the creek. if yuwould have watched him he wouldn't have gone missing and to be found in the creek..

A child in a safe environment can still find trouble in seconds. Around an open are with freezing water, a fast moving creek would see a child dead very quickly. You take your eyes off them just a moment that is all it takes.

I hope this was just a terrible accident and nothing more.

Rest in peace baby Aaden Casey....kisses.
