The AV Club had a list of the best tv show opening credits. The main guideline was that the credits had to fit the show. They had 22 listed, I am picking 10 of them for our starter list.

Same here. There are a slew of them, but it gets tough making sure you are picking an opening credit that fits the show (as they can be good or bad) as opposed to a good opening credit (that may not fit the show).
