Everytime I try to give rep today, a message box pops up that says that I cannot give rep to the same post twice on new posts that I've never rep'ed....

Is anybody else having this problem ?

Yes... I was wondering about that too. Seems you can either give thanks at the bottom or rep at the top.

I think it is just a notification that you got thanked - not any extra on your rep than a normal thank... just telling you you got one.

Yeah, me too. I woke up to some this morning, a couple were "thanked post" and a couple were regular ones. I would say it's Morbids kind of April fools joke, but it's still happening!

I use Firefox, and when I open to many windows (10 or more) I lose my thanks button. If I close all those windows and restart FF, I get it back. :)

I have had to clear the cache, but I usually get it back, but not always.

You repped those folks in the past. You have to pass out rep to different people before you can rep them again. I'm not sure of the number between reps, but it is done so that people don't just sit and rep the same folks over and over again.

The number needed may be different for each of those 2 depending how many folks you repped since you last did each of them.
