Profile page

O.K., this is really weird and can't figure out wtf is going on so I thought I'd see if anyone else has this same problem.

The only profile page I can see personalized with background pic/color, etc. is mine. I see no other profile pages personalized at all. I thought this was odd as I started to notice no one else seemed to be doing anything with their profile page, then when talking with Ucat, I mentioned that I saw "purple" on her page then it went to white. She's like...no, it's purple. I'm like no way. So here I am going wtf?

I tried different browsers. I use Firefox regularly but tried Explorer too but no diff. So anyone, anyone with the same prob. or just ideas pleeeeze let me know. I wonder what else I might be missing out on.:stupido3:

Oh, I don't know how long this has been going on either because frankly I didn't notice as I always have my head in the Reality Bites threads....maybe soon after the system/server change? not sure.

Under User CP->Edit Options, clear at the bottom, I have a "Show User Customizations" box that is checked. Do you have the box and is it checked?

You have to be a Bold Member to have that ability (as well as other cool features). The $20 a year cost goes towards offsetting the cost of the site.

Well I tried to modify my maze of perplexion but overwhelmingly got lost in a sea of coagulation and now I am mired in disbelief. Has anyone ever had the same problem or am I the only one that has been stuck in semi dry blood?

I can see my default picture, but when I send someone a message it is a big question mark or if I am their friend I am a big question mark. Does anyone know why my picture isn't showing up on other people's profile page?

You need to set up an "avatar". That's a different option than your profile picture.

In your User Control Panel, click on "Edit Avatar" under "Settings & Options".
