PALM BAY -- Police said a man slapped, choked and punched his granddaughter during a heated argument.
According to Florida Today, Aubert Modeste was charged with battery, and ordered not to have any contact with the woman after the altercation on Albioa Street.
According to police, the attack escalated when the woman tried to call 911.
Modeste is scheduled to go before a judge on March 30.
