Danish newspapers reprinted cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in a gesture of solidarity Wednesday after police revealed a plot to kill the creator of the caricature that sparked deadly riots in the Muslim world.http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2008/02/12/international/i005824S60.DTL

LGF had this story the other day. This is yet another example of why I love Denmark. It is one of the only European countries that ever takes a stand in favor of free speech, and against the establishment of a Whabbi Eurabia. If cartoons are sparking violent riots and death threats, that should tell us everything we need to know about who we're dealing with. It is just a shame that so few people, or for that matter governments, do. The US spinelessly condemned them, and the Danish re-print them. Am I the only one ashamed of our government?
