PALM HARBOR - Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Palm Harbor man on March 13 after he allegedly struck his roommate, who was sleeping, with an electric guitar.

Chris Frost, 23, was charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He was being held in the Pinellas County Jail.

The incident occurred at about 4 p.m. at an apartment on Avery Avenue in Palm Harbor, according to the sheriff’s report.

Deputies responded to Helen Ellis Hospital at about 5 p.m. after the hospital staff reported the arrival of two injured males to the emergency room. One of the victims, Sara Jandreau, 21, of Palm Harbor, and a friend transported Frost, 23, and the victim Cody Starks, 26, also of Palm Harbor to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Deputies said that while at the Palm Harbor apartment earlier that afternoon, Frost allegedly used an electric guitar to repeatedly strike his roommate, Starks, in the face while Starks was sleeping.

Deputies said Jandreau attempted to intervene, but was also allegedly struck by the suspect. According to deputies, following the incident, the suspect put his fist through a window of the home and was also injured.

I don't think I would have brought the guy that hit me in the face to the hospital with me to get treatment. Apparently they are much nicer than I am.

Anyone else think this is odd?

hell yeah the whole thing is fishy. of course he doesn't have the right to assault anyone, but i bet it wasn't him just sneaking in and bashing a sleeping room mate unprovoked.

there's more to this but luckily it seems like the guy will be ok, anyway.
