Eboney Lawson, 28, of 342 E. John St., was arrested on charges of child endangering and possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia Saturday, March 14, according to police reports.
Lawson had two rolled up dollar bills and a small bag of a white powder in her purse when police responded to her residence on a report of a 1-year-old child missing, according to the report.
A witness told police that Lawson's son and the baby sitter were missing when the Lawon and he witness returned to Lawson's residence. Lawson, however, did not want to contact police because she was afraid of getting in trouble, according to the report. The boy and the baby sitter were located at a relative's house.
Lawson was taken to Clark County Jail, police contacted Children's Services and a relative has taken temporary custody of the child.
