The parents of a 3-year-old boy found wandering alone in Glendale have been found, police said.

The parents were found shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday, police said. They told officers they were in the process of moving out of their house and there was a misunderstanding as to who was watching the boy, police said.

Charges are pending review from the Glendale City Prosecutor's Office. The child remains in Child Protective Services custody, police said.

The boy, wearing a blue-sleeved pajama shirt and shorts, was found walking alone in the area of 4400 W. Marlette Ave., just south of Maryland Avenue around noon Saturday.

While I agree, this was a stupid mistake on the part of the parents, I don't think this was really neglect. I just think they each make a mistake and thank goodness it all turned out ok
