A 20-year-old Henderson man was arrested early Monday in connection with the death of a male infant who Henderson police said showed signs of abuse.
Rayshaun T. Coleman, who was dating the 6-week-old baby’s mother, was arrested and charged with murder. The Clark County coroner’s office identified the boy as Tristin Michaels Hilburn. The mother is listed as Christal Hilburn-Gaynor.
Police were called to the home at 1941 Dunnam Street, near Pabco and Sunset roads, shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday. When officers arrived, they found the baby unconscious. The infant was rushed to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center where he was declared dead. The cause of death has not been determined.
Henderson Police spokesman Keith Paul said officers had been called to the residence in the past for reports of minor disturbances. None of the calls were related to the abuse of children, he said.
Hilburn-Gaynor’s 5-year-old boy was in the home when officers arrived on Sunday. He has since been placed in the custody of an uncle.

this comment is for anyone who reads this story and passes judgement. first of all, you do not know the whole story. i am just as upset as all of you who will read this story. I am the sister of the mother whose baby just passes. this man is her boyfriend, but it was like he faked being something hes not. justice will be served. as far as the mother, she was in the not in the house when the death occured. please have a heart and pray that this evil man gets what he deserves!! r.i.p baby tristain
