http://i43.tinypic.com/k4ts0m.jpgA 32-year-old woman was stabbed several times Saturday after she refused to have sex with a man, sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said.
Donna Robles was standing under a tree outside her home around 7:25 p.m. when 56-year-old Valentin Sanchez, right, approached her and told her he wanted to have sex, Carter said.
When Robles refused, Sanchez threw her on the ground and started stabbing her with a knife in the upper torso. Robles ran to her apartment where her roommate helped her.
Robles was taken to Tampa General Hospital. Her condition was not available Monday.
Sanchez was arrested Sunday at 8:30 a.m. at his home. He is being held without bond on a charge of attempted first degree murder.http://blogs.tampabay.com/breakingnews/2009/03/woman-declines.html
