Brian McArdle tried to kidnap a 14 year-old girl

Police say the girl was walking on Sandcreek Rd. and Sunset Blvd. when Brian McArdle drove up and tried to pull the girl into his car. The girl was able to break free, and police say the suspect then got back in his car and drove away.

McArdle of South Pine Ave. was charged with attempted kidnapping and resisting arrest. He was arraigned in the Town of Colonie court and sent to the Albany County jail without bail.
