A Prescott teacher was arrested after the school principal found her and her 17-year-old student with his pants down in her locked classroom.
American Heritage Academy Principal Leonard Miller told investigators that he tried to go into the classroom of biology teacher Emili Kay Daniels on Thursday, but the door was locked.
After unlocking it, Miller says he saw Daniels and the student near her desk.
His pants were undone, but he was wearing underwear.
During an investigation by Yavapai County sheriff's deputies Thursday and Friday, the student said he and Daniels had at least three sexual encounters on campus.
Detectives are reviewing text messages and e-mails between the two.
Daniels, 34, of Camp Verde, was booked on three charges of sexual conduct with a minor.
