A missing 15-year-old and her 6-month-old daughter might be in the company of a man wanted in the murder of a Durham teen, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Joanna Cano and her daughter, Angel Villegas Cano, were reported missing by Joanna's mother. They were last seen around 8 a.m. Wednesday at a residence on University Station Road, north of Chapel Hill in Orange County.

Investigators believe Joanna and Angel might be in the company of Rodrigo “Morro” Villegas, 19. Thursday, Durham police issued warrants against Villegas for first-degree murder in the Feb. 26 shooting death of Alejandro Emir Denis-Terron, 17.

The three might be in a white van and either headed to Mexico or still in the Durham area.

Joanna and Angel were both described as Hispanic females.

Investigators said they have no indications of danger other than the age of the mother and that they could be traveling with a man wanted for murder.

Anyone with information on Joanna and Angel should call Investigator Tina Painter or Sgt. Troy Comar, of the Orange County Sheriff's Office, at 919-644-3050.http://www.wral.com/news/news_briefs/story/4685931/

Fifteen year old idiot. Thinks she is in love. That baby looks like a cabbage patch doll. I hope grandma finds her before they get to Mexico.

I think she must be a small girl because that baby looks HUGE in her arms.

* Ricardo Cruz Perez, 20, of East Lavender Street
* Rodrigo “Morro” Villegas, 19, of North Hoover Road
* Jose Martin “Pepe” Luviano, 16, of Ruby Ridge Road and Ivy Street.
Villegas may be traveling with a missing 15-year-old girl from Orange County and her 6-month-old son. Joanna Cano and her son, Angel Villegas Cano, were reported missing by Joanna's mother in March. Investigators believe they may be traveling in a white van heading to Mexico or still in the Durham area.
Police did not believe that Cano and her son were in immediate danger, other than being in the company of a murder suspect.
