Stormy Burrows Breaks into home fights with homeowner

Stormy Burrows is charged with two counts of assault and battery with intent to kill and kidnapping.

Police say she broke into a house on East Black Creek Road and got into a fight with the homeowner.

Two other people were inside the home, and police say Burrows held a knife to one person's throat.

Police were called, and arrested the 16 year old on the spot.

Deputies said the suspect went to an East Black Creek Road residence later Saturday night, broke in and got into a scuffle with the homeowner, Lt. Brett Camp said in the release. The suspect held a “razor knife” to the throat of a second person inside the home, taking her hostage and walking her around the residence to get the attention of a third person.

I am a family member and until you have a family member that has the type of problems that Stormy has DO NOT CAST THE STONE! I am not in any way condoning what Stormy did! She has been institutionalized and was only released 3 weeks ago to a Foster parent here in Florence! Do not blame her family as we are extremely hurt and hurting for Stormy as well! You can blame the system! She was not ready to come fully out in our society with the issues she has, plus the medication she is taking, by missing a dose would cause her to do such a horrible thing! I also believe that Stormy acted out towards one of the victims that she knew, and that victim is not totally innocent. As for Lisa and your poem—-that was great way to describe Stormy! We all love and care about her and hope she gets the help she needs!

Ok, I know a little about the family history of this girl her grandmother was a neighbor of my grandparents forever this poor girls mom is a crackhead litterally and has been and out of jail I dont know how many times.Its very very sad because she has just come from a bad situation, its sad that she has had to deal with a mom like hers I think that would make me a little unstable too and I know one set of her grandparents are able to take care of her and they chose to put her in foster care. I knew this girl when she was little and she acted like she had problems then. I just hope she gets the help she needs because 16 is way too young to just put someone away she is still able to be helped. And the state is notorious for letting people out of psych hospitals or state rehabs when they still need to be there.
