Latreasa Goodman, 27, was arrested and charged with misusing 911 after calling the emergency line three times to report that McDonalds was out of Chicken McNuggets and...to make matters worse.....they wanted to give her a McDouble.

According to the Fort Pierce Police Department, Goodman said to the 911 operator, "This is an emergency, if I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn't have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don't want one, this is an emergency!"

The out-of-Chicken-McNuggets store in question is the McDonalds located at 615 North US 1 in Fort Pierce.

LoL, What a idiot, and she called them 3 freakin times. This is why I would make a shitty 911 operator. I would get fired for laughing at the Tards or giving them a ration of shit for stuff like this.

Just ridiculous...what kind of McDonald's doesn't give you a refund...and also, a McDouble and small fry don't add up to the same price as a 10 piece meal...I would say that McDonald's is just shitty.

Oh weeelllll, THAT changes everything. Obviously it was an emergency needing police help if they wouldn't give her a refund. Not only did they take her money under false pretences, but they refused to hand it back, and then to add insult to injury they had the gall to OFFER HER SOMETHING ELSE!!!! How bloody dare they! :lollypop:

And WTF @ Mc D's APOLOGISING to the idiot??? Surely this is one customer they would be better off losing! :shot:

Are they still chopped up and glued back together? Or whole chicken pieces?

I hate pre-chewed food: Chicken, fish, shrimp, onion rings that are made of peices... even some french fries made of mashed potatoes. Closest I can handle are Tater Tots.

I remember that dark spot!! Awful! I only ate them a few times before I realized just how horrible they were. This woman is an idiot and it's just another example of how some people think they should never have to be inconvenienced or dissatisfied in any way. This is America!! How dare they run out of nuggets. Oh the humanity!!!!!!!

I'm sure the police department will not be issuing a similar statement. I'd be impressed if she admitted that she owes them an apology. . .sort of. She still fails to impress due to her definition of an emergency. Cuz you know, cops have nothing better to do than rescue those who are McNugget deprived.

OMG she's not going to get to eat shitty tasting processed chicken, this is a fucking crime against humanity!!!1! of course she had to call 911, i think this was exactly the kind of emergency they had in mind when a centralised emergency response service was created. why didn't she go ahead and call her congressional representatives and the local FBI branch while she was being a crazy bitch?

you have got to be fucking kidding me. who in the fuck acts like this over chicken fucking nuggets? so is she retarded or something, or mentally ill? or was she really just so stupid and angry that she thought calling 911 was the appropriate response to McDonalds being out of chicken nuggets? what did she expect to happen when she called 911? did she think the cops would come and close down the place for lying to her, and arrest the crew for fast food fraud? surprise dumbass, you got arrested for calling 911 for the most ridiculous reason ever. besides the misuse of 911, she should have been charged with felony stupidity.

i have to hear the full 911 calls or see transcripts. that quote in that news article is awesome, and i want to hear this epic crisis as it happened. i really want to hear her flip out over the mcdouble which she considered a grievous personal insult. this must have been the funniest fucking thing in the world to the other customers. it's not every day you see someone go batshit crazy about mcnuggets, and i hope someone got this on mobile video. if this isn't on youtube, i'll just be crushed.

oh yeah, i don't believe they wouldn;t give her a refund. i'm sure she would have gotten one if she hadn't been freaking out way too much to work this out like anyone else in america would. it sounds like she was absolutely fixated on getting those stupid chicken nuggets. i don't know why it never occured to her to just drive two minutes away to the next mcdonalds and get some there, everywhere in the fucking country has one about every half mile or so.

when I read stories like this, it makes me wish that there really was an actual award for the Biggest Douche in the Universe(as seen on South Park). sure, these idiots can become internet sensations and millions of people around the world can have a good laugh at their expense. but i just don't think that's enough. i want an actual televised awards ceremony where these inspirational figures can get the formal recognition and honour they deserve. i would much rather see that than the oscars or any of the other stupid awards shows i never watch. really, how awesome would it be to see this woman win Douche of the Year in a ridiculous awards show? i can't believe i'm the only person who's had that thought.

breaking news tonight, in a stunning new development chicken mcnugget enthusiast Latreasa Goodman has turned down McDonald's generous offer of a refund and free chicken nuggets! here's more:

Woman says McDonalds can keep McNuggets, refund after calling 911 to complain (http://www.cbs12.com/news/keep_4715268___article.html/refund_says.html)

Latreasa Davis says McDonald's can keep their chicken nuggets and the refund money. She called 911 after the Fort Pierce franchise ran out of McNuggets. Was it a call for help or a waste of time? Latreasa Goodman called 911a total of three times to report that McDonald's was all out of Chicken Nuggets. But she says there's more to it than that. After paying for her Mcnugget value meal, she was offered something else and no refund. She told us that's theft. And that's an emergency.

"She don't have what I want and she can't force me to eat something that I don't want", Goodman said in a call to 911 dispatchers.

Goodman: "And I told her well, just give me all my money back and she's telling me she can't give me my money back either."

911: "There's no manager there?"

Goodman: "She says she are the manager." She also said in the call.

Goodman called back to say that she got the address wrong and called back one more time to say that officers were taking too long. Police did show up, but arrested her for misusing 911. Now has to go to court.

"I wanted to jump across the counter, but I understood that it's not her fault. She's just doing her job", said Goodman.

Latreasa says was calling to report a theft. Not to complain about Mcnuggets.

"It's not about the meal, it's about my money that they took", said Goodman.

McDonalds did release a statement, saying in part: "In the event that we are unable to fill an order, a customer should be offered the choice of a full refund or alternative menu items. We regret that in this instance, that wasn't the case."

And now Mickey D's is offering Goodman those Nuggets and full refund... But she says they can keep it.

"They told me no refund. But this paper stating it's a refund plus a chicken nugget meal. They can eat their chicken nugget meal themselves", said Goodman.

Goodman told us she will seek legal counsel on the matter. Let's not forget she's got to go to court about all of this. She says she may even sue McDonald's.

i don't understand her behaviour here. she claimed this whole thing was about not getting a refund. in the first paragraph she says that was the emergency, supposedly. so McDonald's apologises, gives her that refund and a free order of chicken nuggets, and now she turns it down? well, what the fuck do you want then?

i can't believe her response to this. she might want to sue mcdonald's now, lol wot? how ludicrous, really what possible grounds could she have for this? let me guess, she wants $3 for the chicken mcnuggets, $300 for court costs, and $30000 for emotional trauma and pain and suffering? i reckon she wants to cash in on her 5 minutes of shame. if she actually tries a lawsuit that shit would be thrown out of court instantly.

i hope the charge in her court case sticks, i can't see how it wouldn't. it's pretty obvious that she does not know the difference between emergencies and ridiculous crap. chicken nugget drama, even with the money = not emergency.

that site says it has the 911 calls, if i can find them i'll post a link.

i found the 911 calls, or rather the excerpts, and they are just as awesome as i hoped they would be. these do not help her case at all, i can't imagine anyone taking her side after listening to these. i could not find the full calls but i plan to keep looking.

first clip: Chicken McNuggets 911 call (http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid1137883291/bclid1143359274/bctid14642739001)

"now she says everyone is calling her the McNugget Queen and making fun of her. she said it's the principle, not the mcnuggets, that should be paid attention to." that is epic lulz.

third clip: McMergency (http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid1137883291/bclid1143359274/bctid14664096001)

she's really mad in that last one - when she says "they can eat them chicken nuggets themselves", her tone of voice is suggesting that they can do something else with those chicken nuggets instead of eating them.

the videos just confirm everything i had been thinking about this story. this isn't about being ripped off, no matter what she says. this is about someone who went fucknuts crazy over not getting her order, called 911 under false pretences 3 times, and got in trouble with the cops as she well should have. she's a real McDouche.

She's been called "McNut" by TMZ.com and "loco 4 pollo" by PerezHilton.com.

Now, after becoming an Internet sensation for calling 911 three times to report an emergency after McDonald's had run out of McNuggets, a Fort Pierce woman said Wednesday she is embarrassed by all the media attention.

"I'm embarrassed to show my face in public," Latreasa Goodman told WPBF News 25's Alexis Rivera one day after her McNugget meltdown was first reported.

Goodman, 27, was issued a written notice to appear in court for misusing the 911 emergency communications system.

According to the police report, Goodman called 911 three times Saturday to report that a McDonald's employee wasn't giving her a refund for the chicken nuggets she wanted.

"The manager just took my money and won't give me my money back, trying to make me get something off the menu that I don't want," Goodman said in one of the 911 calls. "I ordered chicken nuggets. They don't have chicken nuggets, and so I told her, 'Just give me my money back,' and she tells me I have to pick something else off the menu. She is not going to give me my money back, and she don't have the right to take my money."

Goodman told WPBF News 25 that she didn't "have a right to jump across the counter and snatch" the money, so she chose to handle it another way.

"Inside Edition" was there when WPBF News 25 spoke to Goodman on Wednesday. She said all the media exposure has resulted in several profanity-laced, hateful messages on her personal cell phone.

"I think it's wrong, because like I said, it's not about no chicken nugget meal," Goodman said. "If everybody listen(s) to the news, they'll understand my statement that McDonald's took my money. They didn't have any chicken nuggets, and so I asked for my (money) back."

The 10-piece chicken McNuggets meal is valued at $3.49.

"When you feel that you've been mistreated or misused or robbed out of your money, you have the right to call 911," Goodman said. "That's the purpose of 911, so I thought."

But Tiffany Bennett, an emergency coordinator for St. Lucie County, said the incident does not constitute an emergency.

"It's not an emergency unless there was some kind of disturbance or somebody threatening someone, and I don't believe that was the case in this matter," Bennett said.

Carlos Solorzano, operations manager for all McDonald's restaurants in Florida, issued a statement Tuesday apologizing for the incident.

"Satisfying each and every customer that visits our restaurants is very important to us," Solorzano said. "Regarding this isolated incident, we apologize for the inconvenience caused. In the event that we are unable to fill an order, a customer should be offered the choice of a full refund or alternative menu items. We regret that in this instance, that wasn't the case. continued
