Im not so new here but not so old either. You may have seen me lurking around the threads and putting my two cents in. I am opiniated especially about chidren.
I am 27 I have 3 wonderful beautiful boys. I was a teen mom and some how managed to get my child from birth to 10 so far without being beat broken or killed so I know it can be done. I know alot of people think that young girls cant be good parents but thats just not true. Lazy, evil, or just plain stupid people cant be good parents. I am newly single thanks to some encouragement and advice from other members here. My significant other was extremely abusive and I really was at the end of my rope. He was never abusive to the kids I wouldnt even stand for them to be yelled at but he was abusive to me. Thanks to nell and peeperann I got the courage to make him leave. So I wanna say thank you to them very much cause I didnt think I could do it. He is now out on his own hes taking medication and therapy and I hope he heals himself but I dont care if he doesnt cause its time for me to heal myself.
I went to school to be a teacher but thats not what I do. I do something that rewards me even more then teaching children. I run the largest adoption service in the country. I love my job and would never want to do anything else EVER. I love that put babies in safe loving homes. I love calling a family in the middle of the night and telling them your baby was just born congratulations go get your son or daughter. I dont want people to think that just unsafe homes place children. I wish all the women with unsafe homes would place their children. All kinds of people place children for all kinds of reasons. It really is a remarkable thing for a person to do.
I found this site on accident a few months ago and just cant get enough of it since then. I read every front page article and comment and then finally found my way back to the forums. So I would like to say I love this site I tell everyone I know about it. You guys are all awesome
