Caroline Stitcher, 17, has not been seen since leaving Deerfield High School Friday afternoon. http://i359.photobucket.com/albums/oo35/Special2bme/wbbm0221carolinestitcher.jpgPolice in north suburban Deerfield are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 17-year-old Highland Park girl, last seen leaving her high school Friday afternoon.

Caroline E. Stitcher was last seen leaving Deerfield High School, 1959 Waukegan Rd., on Friday about 3:15 p.m., according to a Deerfield police release.

Caroline, who frequently runs in Highland Park's Churchill subdivision, Route 22 and Ridge Rd., was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, red shorts, black jogging tights and running shoes, the release said.

She is described as a white 5-foot-3, 114 pound girl with blond hair and blue eyes, according to the release.

Caroline E Stitcher returned home on Saturday night, 9 pm. Stitcher’s shoes were missing when she reached home. Reports said Stitcher will be examined at a hospital. Her exact condition and other details remain unclear. There was no other information on Stitcher

Glad she got home safely. I'm really curious about where she was/what happened. She ran out the door of school with her distance track team to go do practice runs and she never came back? Shows up at home some 30 hours later without her shoes? It doesn't sound like a runaway situation at all. Sounds nasty.
