A Fort Pierce man was arrested after he attacked a woman and stole her McDonald's sandwich.

Fulgencio Ramirez, 31, was charged with robbery and resisting arrest without violence.

Barbara Still, 50, was walking behind Riverside Bank when Ramirez approached her, said "hi" and started choking her.

Ramirez then snatched a McDonald's bag containing a Big Mac sandwich from Still's hand and walked off.

Still flagged down a driver, Thernell Mills, who called police and followed Ramirez.

When officers arrived, they noticed Still had a torn shirt. Mills told officers he observed Ramirez take a bag from Still shortly before she flagged him down.

Police said Ramirez told them through a translator he thought Still was the woman who had robbed him at his apartment.

He was subsequently arrested and transported to the St. Lucie County Jail.http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29304225/
