DULARGE, La. (AP) — Authorities are awaiting blood-alcohol test results in their investigation of a crash that killed a 6-year-old Mississippi boy and injured three others in Louisiana.

The boy was only identified by State Police as a 6-year-old from Ruth, Miss., who was a passenger in a car driven by 20-year-old Murphy Babin IV, also of Ruth.
Babin is suspected of driving near Dularge Friday night while impaired. He remains hospitalized in critical condition.
The boy was in the rear passenger seat when authorities say the car swerved off Dularge Road, hit a culvert and landed upside down in a ditch.
There were four people in the car, including the boy’s mother and an 11-year-old girl. Both were injured and taken to an area hospitals for treatmen
