MARION COUNTY, Fl - Five self-entitled punk teenagers killed themselves Saturday morning when the brand new BMW that they were zooming in careened off the end of a airplane runway near John Travolta’s home, hit an embankment, became airborne, flew through the air for 200 feet, and then hit a tree. The car disintegrated on impact in the tiny, private, gated community near Ocala called Jumbolair.

The kids, aged 18-20, were testing the limits of the German sports car and the speed was believed to have been 160 before the driver noticed the end of the runway and tried to brake. All five boys were killed instantly.

18-year-old Joshua Ammirato:

The best thing that I can say about this story is that they didn’t take anyone else with them. Thank god they wrecked on a private airstrip and not the highway or something.

Here's a whole section of an Ocala news organization dedicated to the "Tragedy at Greystone" :sarcastic: http://www.ocala.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?category=news24

And here is a story about the driver asking how to make the car go FASTER on a message board, and getting a response that he should have listened to:

its just disturbing to know, if you're for real, that an 18 year old who is asking these questions about a 500hp car is driving the same streets I am. I don't have anything against young guys driving nice cars, but an 18 year old behind the wheel of an M5 is what accidents are made of IMO. Then again you could be making all of this up.

I completley understand where you are coming from assuming that I am irresponsible..that is definetly understandable. I do sometimes make bad decisions but I am young and I do drive safe and I will not endanger the lives of others..and I hope you are not under the impression that I am the one to brag, I have never been that way and never will. Plus I will have pictures up asap with me in the pictures. I have no reason to lie buddy.Oopsie.

With that winning smirk, what could possibly go wrong?

Kid looks like a prick. And the next three guys were just asking for it with that hair. Sucks that they all had to die before they got those mops cut and saw a girl's boobies.

While this is certainly tragic, hopefully it will serve as a warning to other kids, and their dumbass parents, that 18 yo's do not need a car that can go that fast, nor at that age should they be out at almost 4 in the morning. Especially an 18 yo that just got a speeding ticket the Monday before he died, looks like a cocky prick anyway, and was trying to find a way to make this powerful machine go even faster.

Again, a sad story, but what struck me the most was the girlfriend of the driver speaking at his funeral, saying "It's not his fault. Don't blame it on him." Umm. Yeah right sweetie. I know you're hurting but come on. Unless one of his buddies was holding his foot down on the gas I'd say it certainly is his fault. My hubby's BMW was custom made in Germany and we picked it up in Germany and took her for a spin on the autobahn, where there is no speed limit. Power! Freedom! Whoo Hoo!! I was feeling "frisky" and got her up to 135. Why didn't I test her full strength? Because I'm not a total dumbass and didn't want to die that day. So beseeching others to not blame little Joshy poo is a total waste of breath. What a sad way for others to hopefully get a wake up call.

I was thinking abut this story this morning as I was weaving in out of traffic on I-85 in my M6. A tear started welling up in my eye as I thought about the loss...the destruction...how the world will not ever be the same after this incident...as I flew around a stopped school bus picking up retards, a tear actually ran down my cheek. No matter how hard I tried, I just could not quit thinking about that poor car.

I think what she meant was, if she would not have been texting him pics of her shave-job, those boys would still be alive today. And one of them possibly no longer a virgin.

That smirk is just crazy. It looks like a bad Photoshop job. Lime someone cloned his mouth and set the rotate tool to 45%.

I bet that smirk looked different when the wheels left the tarmac. That would have been something for those 5 kids. Every one of them must have KNOWN at that instant that they were all dead. 200ft through the air thinking, "Shit, I knew this was a bad idea, I didn't feel safe on the last two runs, but I didn't want to be the pussy who said something".

Know why they call the kid who says something a "pussy"? Yeah, it has to do with the anatomical structure that delineates gender. Some kids think it draws comparisons to women because they are physically weaker. Nope. Not that at all. It has to do with the fact that women don't become overwhelmed with testosterone and MAKE STUPID LIFE CHOICES. Nope, women get killed by gossip, that text message they just HAVE to check while passing a van doing 80mph.

Speaking of which, we should run these stories together, see if we can play Angelic Matchmaker and assign each boy a heavenly angel to torment for eternity. These two groups were just MADE for each other. Two idiotic shepherds and their 4 little sheep.

Fuck Swiv, what are you, bald? The thick mop of hair is the only good thing they had going on, probably buffered them a little, right before their heads exploded on impact with that tree. :p

Well if Dustin was in the passenger seat, I don't know how the fuck Josh could see where he was going!

Two fashion trends I am noticing: White men hate the way their ears look, and black guys can't stand the sight of their own knees.

Women are still pretty much miserable with everything about themselves.

Hey, had those kids had a real car, like the Family Truckster, things could have been a hell of a lot different.

What a smirk that kid has -- had. And he sounded like such a jerk on the car website. Some people are way too rich. Do you think body photos will turn up online as did for "Porsche Girl?" I guess these will be the BMW Boys.

And I don't feel sorry for the passengers. No one made them put their precious little posteriors in that car.

What's with the "buddy," stuff? Macho?

"This airstrip is unique in that it 's in a gated community and that it is backed up to private homes. Everyone there has their own airplane, and can literally walk from their house to their plane. The most famous resident is John Travolta, who parks his 707 along with three other planes there."

Short of F1 Racers, I don't think anybody really needs cars that go that fast. It is a question of want, and the ability to act on said desire. To make a sweeping generalization based on age is out of line. Yes, most people that age are stupid. But to be frank, I could say the same of really any age group in this country. I think it is ultimately a matter of competence and responsibility, not age. Clearly, these kids made the wrong choices.

And not being out at 4am at 18? He's a legal adult at that point. If not then, then when can a person be out that late? Frankly, my parents never had a curfew, and there were a couple of times in high school where I stayed out until about 4am. My parents trusted me, as evidently did his. Their faith was clearly misplaced, but as I said before, he was an adult. So really, nothing that can or should be controlled.
