Derrel Anderson, 24, recalls skipping out on his high school classes to smoke marijuana and go "girl hunting" with his friends.
He eventually dropped out of school, then spent his early adult years getting into trouble for dealing drugs and hanging with the wrong crowd.
Last year, the North College Hill father found himself locked up for complicity to robbery.
It was probably the best thing that could have happened to him, he said. :confused:
