According to a St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office report, a deputy was at Donta Bjoun Hunt’s home with officials from the state Department of Children and Families when the child told him Hunt “got his marijuana from the ‘marijuana tree' " in the bedroom.
In the bedroom closet, the deputy found two 10-inch-tall marijuana plants, two lights and three pots with soil.
Hunt, who already was at the St. Lucie County Jail on a charge of domestic assault from earlier in the day, told deputies he grew the marijuana “so he wouldn’t get arrested out on the streets” buying it.http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2009/feb/09/boy-leads-deputies-marijuana-plants/
