Philip Anthony Chester, 34, is charged with distributing obscene material to a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, jail records show.
According to a police report, a man told police he'd just been at a service station when two youngsters pulled DVDs out of their backpacks and offered them for sale. He said he passed.
Officers then went to the station and confronted one of the youngsters. They followed him to Chester's truck, where they saw numerous DVDs. The youngster then took officers to his nearby home, where they found Chester inside.
Chester, who is unemployed, told officers he arranged for the boys, who are cousins, to sell the DVDs for $5 each, keeping $2 each.
He said he bought them in Georgia and mailed them to a friend in Boynton Beach, but when the friend was unable to sell them, he came down to South Florida to pick them up.
Police seized 11 boxes, each containing 100 DVDs, along with two more in the living room, the report said.
It said officers also alerted the Florida Department of Children and Families Sunday about the two boys' enterprise.
