Fairmont Police have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a four year old girl.
Michael Hanson, 25 of Fairmont, is charged with two counts of first degree sexual assault/attempted forcible rape and two counts of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian. All the charges are felonies.
In late January, Hanson assaulted the young girl at the Merchant Street home of some friends he was visiting, police say.
Hanson is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
