A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Tampa woman accused of injecting a silicone substance into the buttocks of two women for cosmetic enhancement, the sheriff's office said today.
Facing two counts of practicing medicine without a license is Sharhonda L. Lindsay, 32, of Blue Palm Way, Tampa.
Investigators say she met with the victims Jan. 29th and they agreed to pay her to inject them with Hydrogel, a silicone substance, and saline solution. One victim paid $500 for 40 injections, the other paid $250 for 20 injections.
Afterwards both victims began to experience pain and discomfort, detectives said.
They were taken to Town & Country Hospital for treatment of internal injuries.
