I am creating this while under the influence of painkillers after a nightmarish dental appointment. But I have continued to see more and more members signing up and introducing themselves, and I have less and less time to individually welcome each of them.

So here is my blanket WELCOME TO D'D post. Consider it a lazy response to any of you who have taken the time to actually post an introduction. That's not saying that I will stop taking the time to reply, as I do read all of them, but in times like these, where I am being pulled in a couple directions, I will fall back on this post.

If you have any questions, or are feeling lost in these forums, feel free to PM me or any of the mods here (Ruby, Lizard, CorruptedMistress) or any of the members you want, for that matter. We will be glad to help...although I get aggravated with questions that have obvious and easy answers.

So if you have posted an introduction, and I have not Thanked you or posted a reply to your intro, simply come back and read this and know that I am there with you , in spirit, and that it warms my cold, crooked little heart to have you here...until you wear out your welcome, of course. Then I hate you...but that's jumping the gun a bit, we'll burn that bridge after I am safely across it.

It seems like this is not the first time we've heard tell of you, a nightmarish dental appointment, and drugs. Are you like Sisyphus with the stone, except you have to have the same dental procedure done over and over?

This was a doozy. I thought it was just a checkup...until they put the Nitrous on me. Then I was like...what the fuck...

Turns out I was having socket surgery. For any of you who have had it, I now feel your pain. It was about as bad as it can get...especially if you have any phobias with the dentist. Needles, drills, picks, sutures, some kind of bone saw. Oh...and blood. A good bit of it. Some even splattered on the protective glasses they put on my face right before I uttered "Oh shit...this cannot be good".

So I am now at work, waiting on the numbness to go away so I can curl into the fetal position from the waves of pain that will surely follow.

You have this surgery, and then you go to work? How the fuck do you manage? Next, you'll jump up after the limb amputation to go jogging.

No wonder you're channeling horror movies.

Fuck, I have severe jaw pain from TMJ lock mode, which also causes teeth pain. So I sure as hell don't feel sorry for you Morbid. But will be glad to share my Flexeril with you.

Yeah, I was in a public place, and they made me pay for the damage to the floor. Even worse, I inadvertently jostled my laptop as I went down, revealing Morbid's penis to others sitting near me, so I had to pay for THAT damage, too, not the mention the medical bills. I don't mind the 2nd and 3rd jobs that much; D'D is worth it.
