Sheena Montgomery is knocked up in style, but has starving kids.

Sheena Montgomery, 23, has her priorities all wrong. She seems to think that having a fancy hairstyle and a kickass phone are more important then her offspring - ages 5, 4, 2, and 1 - having any kind of food to eat for days at a time. She also saw no problem with leaving the children to fend for themselves while she went to "find food" for quite a few hours. How's that for some awesome parenting? Oh, did I mention that she is also expecting another baby? Mommy Dearest is currently pregnant with her 5th baby!

At 3:00 p.m. Thursday, an employee at the Magic Dollar spotted Montgomery's eldest children, both girls, wandering outside of her residence in filthy clothing. When the employee approached the children, they told her they were hungry and had not had anything to eat all day and didn't know where they lived. The employee brought the children inside the store to feed them cheeseburgers while they phoned for police.

When questioned by police, the children told them they often went without food and that being left home alone was nothing new to them. They also said they had two younger siblings at the home, their 2-year-old brother and 1-year-old sister, so as police were making arrangements to have them picked up, good ole mom herself phoned in asking about her daughters. She admitted to police that her children had not had food in three days and she had left her home around 2:00pm to find some. How sweet, huh? I don't know how any mom could allow that to happen.

Before police had a chance to pick up her two remaining children, Montgomery showed up at the police department. The police reports claim she had obviously had her hair done and was using a 'touch-screen' cell phone. She told police she had no money food so police asked her how she could possibly afford such luxury items if she could not afford to keep food in her kids' mouths. At the mere mention of this, she became angry with the cops! Well, they have a point Sheena. How can anyone live with themselves to know they made their kids sacrifice so they can have cool gadgets? It's disgusting. I am guessing this is when they decided to place her under arrest for the four counts of neglect, but Sheena didn't want to go down that easily. She also got a nifty little charge of resisting arrest.

She was in court yesterday and was given a five-hundred dollar cash bond. She will be back in court on Feb. 24th. Of course, court is nothing new to her, she has had a few visits there in recent years regarding evictions, paternity tests, and disorderly conduct. Check them out here. I have never known that you can find food at a beauty parlor. New one for me. This idiot had money to have her hair done but could not find food for her children? Find food?? Hey idiot, you pack your kids up and walk to the nearest grocery store like Krogers. Better yet, Wal-Mart also sells food too. Now if you had been starving too we would understand you were having problems in todays economy. There is always a food pantry in every town including yours. Ever hear of the words Soup kitchen?? If this idiot was really looking for food, and she really cared for these children, you would find food for those kids, not leaving them alone getting your hair done and talking on a type of phone that most people only dream about. See people this is exactly what happen when you live in a "Progressive" state like Wisconsin....You end up chasing all the businesses out, by penalizing them, and all the good people such as myself leave, because of the insanely stupid high taxes, and you get BABYBREEDING WELFARE QUEENS like Montgomary who move in because Wisconsin would rather have people sucking off the system instead of Contributing to it.

What bothers me most about this story, is that I became "friends" with a woman exactly like this last year, except she has 8 kids. As far as I know, they were all with the same man, her deceased husaband, but when I first met the kids, I felt sorry for them.
They would come over to our place to play with my kids and I invited them to eat with us one night. After that, they were over EVERY day,(I'm talking sun-up) begging for food and asking what we were grilling out for dinner. I met the mother, and after hearing her story of how her husband was shot on xmas eve, my heart broke.
I became friends with her, but over the next few weeks I began to notice more and more of how "Her" happiness came first, her "men" were first, and the kids suffered. Yes, she was on food stamps and do you believe she invited us over for a cookout one night and cooked us (meaning her, her man, me, and my husband) steak and baked potatoes, with a salad, while the kids all ate hotdogs and chips. (the same thing they ate EVERY NIGHT all summer! No Joke!And that's 1 meal a day)
Me and my husband both refused and cut our steaks up to divide amongst the kids. ( NO, she did not like that we did that)
She has cable, she has a newer cell phone than I do, and she goes out almost every night to bars with her man leaving her 12 year old to watch the rest aging 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 6, & 2. (her 17 yr old moved out)

Her apartment is disgusting and unfit to live in. (my kids were never allowed inside)

After witnessing more than enough and talking to other neighbors, we have called social services, the apartment complex manager, and the police and still nothing has been done! We moved away from there last fall because we just could not take it any more (let alone feed her kids), but my friend is still there and says she is still the same! She is still calling the police, but nothing!

Does anybody know what else can be done that we have not already tried?

Vanity can be deadly. A pity in this case it's the poor kids and not the worthless %^$ of a mother. Maybe we'll get lucky and she'll get hit with a truck before her next appointmoint. No beauty salon will want her after that.

I will never understand how mothers can be so selfish when it comes to their kids. There are two things I could never allow my children to feel and that's hunger and cold. I will do anything to not allow them to ever feel that.

I can never justify buying anything that isn't a necessity. I see something I am about to buy and I say o.k., do we NEED this or just want it. That's how I decide whether or not to buy it. I also calculate how many hours I had to work to buy that one thing when I'm thinking about getting us a "want" treat. That alone usually talks me out of buying anything.

I cut my own kids hair and I honestly don't care that I don't have my hair or nails done. Things like that just aren't important to me.

My cell phone cost one dollar and I'm on my mom's plan. The phone works like shit but it does what I need it to do, it lets my son call me when he gets home from school so I know he's there safe.

The sad thing is, if they take her children away, I bet she'd be relieved, not torn up. I can picture DCF telling her to get the kids, you must do x, y and z and her not do a damn thing to interrupt her "me" time, which is all the time.

What about the "family cap" that determined your benefit based on the number of kids you had???? You DID NOT get more bennies if you had more kids while in the system.

These were important features of the reform - but the "boo-hoo - these poor people" folks seem to have done away with it.

Can't have it all ways - either make them responsible OR take care of them and quicherbichen.
