AKRON - A 28-year-old city woman is accused of threatening a 12-year-old girl if she went to the police about being raped.

The girl went to the police anyway.

Stephanie Davis was arrested Tuesday by Akron police for telling the young girl that a gang would retaliate against her if she told police that she was raped by a man while staying in Davis' apartment.

Davis is in Summit County Jail in lieu of posting $100,000 bond on a charge of intimidation.

John Kelley, also 28, and also from Exchange Street, is in Summit County Jail on $500,000 bail on a felony count of rape and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested Tuesday.

Police spokesman Lt. Rick Edwards said girl went to stay with Davis, a family friend, on Jan. 16 and 17. Sometime during the visit, Edwards said that Kelley came to the apartment and raped the girl.

What a couple of assholes. And how brave of this girl to go to the police anyway? I hope both of these fuckstains get put away for a long time.

He's 28?! I'm almost 28, and from looking at his picture I thought he was at least in his forties.

We had a guy come in a few months ago..YOUNG maybe 22? Anyway EVERY visible tooth in that boys head was gooey brown....I thought maybe drugs were related to that and saw something called "Meth Mouth"....reckon that is what it was? I have NEVER seen anything like that......I mean WHY do something like that to yourself? Makes no sense to me...which is actually probably a good thing...lol!
