A Willingboro man has been accused of stabbing his mother, then burning down their house with her body inside.
Forty-eight-year-old Robert Anderson was arrested Tuesday, a day after the body of 70-year-old Jestie Mims was found in her charred house.
Police said Anderson bound and stabbed his mother late Friday or early Saturday, then set the house on fire Monday morning before driving away in her car.
He has been charged with murder and arson and is being held on bail of $750,000.

Robert Anderson, 48, allegedly bound and stabbed his mother, Jestie Mims, in their home in the first block of Maplewick Lane late Friday or early Saturday, Burlington County authorities said. Officials said he torched the home Monday morning, then left in his mother's car.
Anderson was charged with first-degree murder and arson, authorities said. Bail was set at $750,000 for Anderson, who is being held in the Burlington County Jail, Mount Holly.
While a grandson occasionally stayed at the home, he was not inside the home when the fire was set, authorities said.
Mims' body was found by firefighters Monday but was not immediately identified because of the extensive burns. She had been stabbed multiple times in the neck and head.
Anderson was arrested early Tuesday following an investigation by the Burlington County Major Crimes Unit, the Burlington County Fire Marshal's Office and the Willingboro Police Department, according to Joel Bewley, spokesman with the prosecutor's office.
The investigation is continuing, authorities said.
A neighbor, Sheldon Brown, said he was shocked to hear of the news.
"It's just a surprise and kind of a shock and I just feel bad for this family," he said.
Brown said he sometimes talked to Anderson when Anderson was outside cutting his mother's grass.
"They were good people from what I knew of them," he said.
Brown said he woke up Monday to fire trucks on the street outside his home and flames shooting out of a front window of Mims' home.
Investigators kept part of the road blocked Monday, he said.
Bewley said Anderson was charged about 3 a.m. Tuesday after authorities found him earlier for questioning.
According to the state Department of Corrections Web site, Anderson was arrested three different times on drug charges.
