A 22-year-old woman who attempted to flee the state with a 14-year-old Ogden girl may be facing felony charges of sexual abuse of a child.
Ana Avalos was arrested in southern Utah Friday after an Amber Alert was issued for Reyna Santelices, a Mound Fort Middle School student, who disappeared during the night from her parent's home.
A motorist spotted the two immediately after hearing the alert come over the radio and called police.
Avalos was transported from Washington County and booked into Weber County Jail that evening on suspicion of kidnapping, sodomy of a child and sexual abuse of a child.
