Allegany County investigators have charged a woman with taking part in the sexual abuse of a child from the time the boy was five years old.

Linda Sue Green, 53, of Cumberland was arrested today and charged with sex offenses, child abuse, perverted practice, second-degree assault, and contributing to the condition of a child. She is being held on $500,000 bond.

Last week, her husband, Kenneth Dow Green of Cumberland was arrested and charged with sex offense of a minor, child abuse and other sex offenses.

Authorities said Linda Green took part with her husband in the sexual contact with the youth from 1991 until 2008.

Police in Allegany County have filed more charges against a Cumberland man who is accused of sexually abusing a male victim over a sixteen-year period.

Additional charges have been filed by Investigators against 42 year old Kenneth Dow Green s a result of continuing investigation into allegations that Green had sexually abused a male victim over a sixteen year time period, beginning in 1991 and continuing until 2008.

The investigation began after law enforcement officials received a complaint from the victim. A search warrant was served at Green’s residence, and video depicting some of the sexual acts, and other evidence to support the allegations, was recovered at that time.

On Monday investigators with the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit (C3I) arrested 53 year old Linda Sue Green, of Valley Road, Cumberland, as a result of continued investigation into allegations that resulted in the arrest last week of Green’s husband, Kenneth Dow Green, on numerous sex offense related charges.

During interviews with the victim, Investigators learned that Linda Green participated on several occasions with her husband in the sexual contact with the victim that began in 1991 when the victim was 5 years of age, and continued for 16 years, ending in 2008. During the execution of a search warrant that C3I Investigators served at the Green residence, they recovered evidence supporting the allegations against both Kenneth and Linda Green.
