A Mount Auburn resident is accused of stabbing another man in the chest with a butcher knife in North Fairmount.

Omar Childress, 19, allegedly stabbed Cecil Williams, 27, around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 4200 block of Williamsburg Drive.

Cincinnati police arrested Childress and charged him with felonious assault.

Williams was taken to University Hospital, where he was expected to survive.

At Childress’ arraignment Thursday morning, his attorney told a judge his client had gone to the home expecting to meet a girl. Instead, he found Williams there with a dress and wig on.

An altercation then led to Childress allegedly grabbing a butcher knife from the kitchen and stabbing Williams. Childress’ bond was set at $50,000. He was being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.

I'm not saying the victim had it coming, but if I was a heterosexual man expecting to meet a female for sex and was accosted by a trannie I think I might stab them too. This happens on the streets a lot. How long did it take him to realize it was a man?

So he gets there, discovers it's a man in a dress and wig and makes it far enough inside to go to the kitchen and grab the knife and stab this other guy?

I guess simply leaving was out of the question...
