SAN ANTONIO—A San Antonio stepdad is accused of using a hidden camera to tape his teenage stepdaughter undressing in her bedroom.
David Allen Kimbrough, 51, was charged with improper photography after his 16-year-old stepdaughter called the cops.
“You’re watching someone change for sexual pleasure,” Bexar County Sheriff Ino Badillo said.
Badillo said the teen found a monitor in her stepfather’s shed, and on the screen was a live picture of her bedroom.
Investigators said by looking at the live feed, the teen figured out the picture on the monitor was coming from her television.
When she looked inside her TV, investigators said she found a tiny wireless camera.
“The 16-year-old victim brought it to the attention of the mom. The stepdad came and tried to say, ‘I’ll give you my TV for yours. Let’s try and switch out TVs,’’ Badillo said.
But the teen refused and told police about what she allegedly found in the shed.
“(Kimbrough) admitted he had a monitor device that he took out of the shed and drove down the road and threw it on the side of the road,” Badillo said.
If convicted, Kimbrough could be forced to register as a sex offender.
He was released from jail on $2,000 bond.
