This guy is a true "missing link" to the human race. Too bad they can't permanently make him "missing".
Owner horrified; dog shot, decapitated
A 50-year-old Stanfordville man who allegedly shot and decapitated a dog Sunday morning faces a misdemeanor violation of the New York State Agriculture and Markets Law.
The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office arrested Stanley Jablonka for the death of a Great Dane that belonged to Tracey Sturgess, his ex-wife’s sister who was temporarily staying at his home.

Jablonka, a race car driver, told police he thought the dog was aggressive so he shot it and that he believed he needed to decapitate the dog in order to have a rabies test performed, police said.
Sturgess said her 3-year-old dog Humphry was deaf and partially blind, and was gentle.

At night, she chained the dog up in Jablonka’s garage.
Sturgess said Stanley’s brother Michael Jablonka woke her around midnight Sunday and told her there was a problem with her dog.
She said she rushed outside to where Humphry was chained and saw a pool of blood, but no dog. That’s when she was told he had been decapitated with an axe, she said.
“[Stanley] tried to say that the dog went after his brother,” she said, “but they shot the dog at the end of the chain. He was chained.”
Jablonka was arraigned early Sunday at the Stanford Justice Court and released. He was not immediately available for comment.
Between sobs, Sturgess said she was still in denial.
“I still think I’m going to get my dog back,” she said.
“It’s a horrible act of violence,” she said. “I’m extremely distressed.”
