A Mary Esther woman who bit her mother and pulled a clump of hair from her sister-in-law's head has been arrested for felony child abuse.
Okaloosa County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jennifer Lynn Perry, 23, of Mary Esther on Dec. 22 on one count of felony child abuse.
According to the arrest report, Perry was intoxicated when she went to pick up her 2-year-old child from her mother on Dec. 7. The mother refused to hand her grandchild over to Perry, (go grandma!) who responded by pushing and biting her mother on the leg and elbow, breaking the skin.
Perry grabbed her child, and while holding on to the child she punched her sister-in-law multiple times. While attacking her sister-in-law, Perry lost her balance and fell to the floor while holding her child, who was not injured in the fall but was able to escape from Perry's grasp.
Perry continued her attack on her sister-in-law after getting up and pulled clumps of her hair out, leaving a bald patch on her head.
