PORT CANAVERAL -- Coast Guard crews are searching for a man that fell off the cruise ship Carnival Sensation.
It happened just before 1 a.m. Thursday about 20 miles off the coast of Vero Beach.
The person that fell is an employee of the ship. Friends saw him go overboard. They threw him a life line and notified ship officials, who then called the Coast Guard.
Helicopters have also been called in to help in the search.
The ship has returned to Port Canaveral
Damn, no cruises in my future. If I went on a cruise I would be the first one jinxed with all the bad luck I have. As a matter of fact I have been on one cruise to Bermuda. While I was there I went snorkeling with Art and he had fish food in his pocket. Well, wrong place to keep fish food because all of a sudden thousands of fish came swimming around us. It caught be totally off guard when they started nipping at me that I jumped back and coral stabbed me right in the achilles tendon. Not a good thing to happen to you, within hours I was in so much pain I could not walk. Then about 4 hrs. later a red line started running up the leg. Went to the ships Dr. and he told us that I needed to be admitted to the hospital in Bermuda. We said no way so he cut into the achilles tendon to get as much of the coral out as possible. Was on IV antibiotics, couldn't walk for the remaining 3 days. They told us once I got back home to go right to the hospital, which I did. Was in the hospital for a week and a half. I'm telling you I have to get rid of this bad karma that follows me.
