VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. -- A crash in Volusia County left a woman and her baby trapped inside their car late Tuesday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a tire blew out on a car going westbound toward Sanford and crashed into a guardrail.

"The front passenger was mixed up in the guardrail. Her one leg was on top of the guardrail the other was under it. It took about an hour and a half to extract her out of the vehicle," said Jason Brooks of the Florida Highway Patrol.

The FHP said the woman had a suspended license and shouldn't have been driving. The driver and the baby girl who was in the back seat survived the crash.

The passenger was flown to Halifax Medical Center in serious condition.

The accident held up traffic for several hours on I-4 late and closed the east bound and west bound lanes in Osteen near mile marker 106.

EWWWW this is horrible oh man. Thank goodness the baby is alright.
