Woman stabbed officer with crack pipe

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A woman is behind bars after she allegedly stabbed a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer in the hand with a crack pipe.

Police say Frances Platt refused to pull her car over during a traffic stop, and officers followed her because she was driving slowly.

According to CMPD, Platt stopped her car at a dead end, lit up a crack pipe and stabbed an officer in the hand when she was being taken into custody.

The officer was not seriously injured but is being treated for possible exposure.

Platt faces several charges, including assaulting a government official, resisting a public officer, reckless driving and driving while impaired.

LoL, What a duffus 5'4" and weighing in at over 200 lbs, And not the first time she has been arrested for Crack, But Damn, that was on Christmas day, 52 freekin years old, out driving around smoking crack, Not to smart firing that up with a cop behind your car. And then stabbing him with it, giving him your nastey crack cooties.



Frances Platt, 52, faces several charges including assault on an officer and driving while impaired in the Christmas Day incident, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Officials said that Platt then lit a crack pipe as officers closed in. She is alleged to have stabbed an officer in the hand with a broken piece of the pipe as he tried to take her into custody.

Platt was arrested and charged with several misdemeanor and traffic violations, including assault on a government official, resisting an officer, reckless driving, DWI, possession of drug paraphernalia, hit-and-run and failure to heed a blue light.

Just my luck, someone beat me in the Stab an Officer with a Crack Pipe Annual Christmas Race. Again.
