http://i44.tinypic.com/oqhaf9.jpgA 63-year-old Atascadero man accused of molesting at least seven young girls over more than a decade often told them they were “old enough” before he committed the alleged sexual acts.
Police began investigating Roman Fierro Ramos in late November, when a 10-year-old Atascadero girl told an elementary school teacher about the alleged abuse.
Some possible victims told police the abuse continued up until the days before he was arrested.
In an interview with police, Ramos initially denied sexually molesting the alleged victims. But later that day, in a follow- up interview with detectives, Ramos admitted to touching the genitals of multiple girls, but said it was “most likely an accidental touching”.
Ramos gave officers “his word” he would never touch the girls’ private areas again.
Of the seven girls identified, investigators said their ages ranged from 6 to 10 years old at the time of the alleged abuse. Some are now in their teens, police said.
One girl, now 10, said that when she turned 6, Ramos pulled her into his room, said “she was old enough,” and told her to perform oral sex on him, but she refused.
She said this happened to her numerous times in the past four years, each time with Ramos either requesting or demanding the alleged acts.
However, the young girl said she never performed the acts and was able to run outside each time.
An allegation described by another alleged victim, her age unknown, included Ramos sitting a group of girls on his bed, exposing himself and asking each one to per-form sexual acts on him.
“If one said no, he’d move to the next girl,” police wrote in the report.
Another girl alleged that Ramos took her to an area on his property and exposed himself to her, requesting her to touch him. The girl did so because she was scared of what he would do if she did not comply.
A police summary of the alleged sexual acts are:
• Touching of the girls’ and Ramos’ genitals.
• Making girls watch abuse of others in the same room
• Oral sex
• Forced kissing on the mouth
• Rubbing/touching outside the clothes
• Digital penetration
• Simulating oral sex on the girls outside the clothes.
