So, what's the prediction? Seems as if it has a lot of talent behind the film, and the more I see of the trailers, the more I want to see it.

This is a film I have been looking forward to for a long time. The first time I had ever seen anything about it was last September at the Fango show in NY (Yes, it was the first vacation I had in about two years and I decided to crash at my cousin's apartment and go to a convention... I wish my friends would've booked that cruise with me instead...). Anyway, they were advertising it for release in November.
Then, I went to a convention in Orlando the following week (This time, I was helping some friends at their table) and Lionsgate was there, pimping this movie out. In a mere week since I had been at the Fango, it had gotten bumped to a tentative January release. The footage they showed was great and I couldn't believe that it had been shuffled around (Especially considering the people involved).
Then, a few weeks later, it was bumped back to March 2007 and now May 25th. I am really hoping this is one of the rare times that a film was not released right away because the studio had no idea what to do with it and it is, in fact, good. Fortunately, being shuffled around on the calendar usually means something not so pleasant.

Anybody seen this? Thoughts on what you saw? One of my girlfriends is dragging me to see this in a couple of hours. I'm not real keen on seeing this, but then again, I'm not crazy about creature flicks. I'll let you know what I thought when I get back.

But its not a creature flick? Or so I have heard. I'll watch it later or early tomorrow and throw some thoughts up here.

But its not a creature flick?Well, barring some super secret but undoubtedly asinine plot twist right at the end; assuming that they really are bugs, then yes, it would be a creature flick. If it ain't supernatural, human or alien, then you can pretty much call them creature movies as far as I'm concerned. This is just the way that I break down horror sub-genres.

And my plans fell through, so I doubt I'll be going to see this at all now. I'm kind of relieved. I still look forward to your thoughts, 'holic (or anyone else really).

So, this movie was...interesting. It was a good study of paranoia and isolation. The whole movie basically takes place in a hotel room and ventures outside those walls maybe once or twice. Since it was originally a play, it is a bit unconventional as a film (Think Virginia Wolf) but it was good performances and moves along at a pretty brisk pace. Probably one of the most unique films I've seen this year.

I watched this tonight, finally, and thought it was good!
The acting in this is very good and the dark humor is great! :D

I went into this not having read a single thing about it. I, like ZB, thought it was a creature flick. I quite enjoyed it. Like Holic said, it is a good look at paranoia and isolation. Made me think of some tweekers I knew in Utah.
