The suspects are Brandon Skinner, 24; Donielle Sherley, 23; Michael Cory Bowling, 24; Brian Kemp, 27, and Carissa Miller, 18

Bowling and Sherley lived with Robinson along with Robinson's brother, Christopher Kent

According to the probable cause affidavit, on January 7, 2007, in the presence of Kemp, Bowling, and Miller, Skinner and Sherley discussed their belief that Robinson had molested their daughter. Skinner expressed his intent to kill Robinson, and Kemp provided an unregistered gun to Skinner. Skinner instructed Sherley and Miller to go find Robinson and bring her to the Saluda Bottoms near the Ohio River.
Sherley admitted that she and Miller went to get Robinson, and that Robinson would not have gone with Miller without Sherley because Miller and Robinson “hated each other". She further admitted that the trip entailed driving from Kemp’s house through Madison to Robinson’s residence. After picking up Robinson, the threesome stopped at Wal-Mart, where Sherley chatted with a friend, and bought chips and drinks. Sherley then drove them all the way back to Hanover to use Miller’s car because she was almost out of gas; and then they took Robinson to the river area.
Mr. Skinner shot Ms. Robinson once in the face at close range, then fired a second shot into her body at close range. Ashley Robinson’s body was then dumped into the Ohio river. Robinson was pregnant at the time of the murder.”

I used to sorta date her brother Chris, and Ashely taught me how to play euchre. I dated Chris longer than I would have, because I liked going to her apartment and hanging out. It had been about 3 years between the time that I saw Ashely, and when she was murdered, but the Ashely I knew, wouldn't have molested a child. Her own daughter, is about 5 now. However, like so many people in this god forsaken town, she fell towards the use of Meth and crack. Skinner tried to blame his drug addiction and get a reduced sentence. Maybe the drugs turned her into somebody I wouldn't have recognized, and maybe I just don't want to believe this about her. I know her family doesn't, and there's no record anywhere of the allegations being true, at least not that I can find, I know, I've looked. I think it was bullshit lies meant to cause drama (people are like that in that town) and indeed it did.

once again, I still can't figure out how to get a picture posted properly, so if some kind hearted soul wouldn't mind, pming me and telling me how... That would be much appreciated.

What town was this? I just wonder if I know any of these people?
Shouldn't have killed a pregnant woman even if they felt that this was true.

Madison/Hanover Indiana. If you're from there, you heard about it, no doubt. Ashely, lived in the Madison Village trailer park.

I guess they never heard of calling the police?

Sounds to me like an excuse to murder more than anything.

(MADISON, Ind.) -- Three murder defendants are admitting to their roles in the death of a pregnant woman from Madison, Indiana, and will testify against their co-defendants. Donielle Sherley made an appearance in court Thursday, admitting she participated in Ashley Robinson's murder. WAVE 3's Maira Ansari has the details.

In court Thursday, Sherley admitted that she knew she was driving Robinson, 23, to her death the day she died on January 4th. She was two months pregnant at the time. Five suspects were charged in her death before her body was found in the Ohio River in April.

Along with Sherley, four other people were charged with Robinson's death: 24-year-old Brandon Skinner from Madison; 24-year-old Michael Cory Bowling, 27-year-old Brian Kemp, and 18-year-old Carissa Miller, all from Hanover.

Prosecutor Chad Lewis said Sherley is cooperating with authorities and "entered a plea of guilty to conspiracy to commit murder and took responsibility for her role in the death of Ashley Robinson."

It all started over allegations of molestation against a child that belonged to Sherley and another defendant, Brandon Skinner.

Police say Ashley was murdered in January and her body was dumped into the Ohio River. In court, Sherley admitted that she and Miller drove Ashley to the murder scene, and that's where Skinner allegedly shot Robinson.

Sherley admitted Skinner told her Robinson would "have to pay" for allegedly abusing their daughter.

She also accuses Kemp of providing the weapon. Sherley said after Robinson was killed, they went back to the home where Ashley lived and grabbed her clothes.

They drove to Missouri, where they dumped her belongings in a dumpster so it would look like Ashley had moved out.

Bowling, Miller and Sherley took the plea deal in order to testify against Kemp and Skinner.

The remaining co-defendants in the Ashley Robinson murder case were sentenced for their role in her death Thursday.

Michael Cory Bowling, Carissa Miller and Donielle Shirley all pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder.

Bowling and Shirley each received 30 years in prison, and Miller was sentenced to 25 years.

Two other co-defendants, Brian Kemp and Brandon Skinner, were sentenced to serve 65 years earlier this week.
