"A 15-year-old boy upset because his mother would not let him buy a pair of boots was arrested Saturday after threatening to burn down his house, Buffalo police said.
The youth’s mother called police after he threatened to torch the house in the 400 block of Shirley Avenue about 5 p. m. In an upstairs bedroom, police found a Molotov cocktail — a beer bottle filled with gasoline, with a sock stuffed in it for a wick. The youth was arrested when he tried to leave the house. He had a lighter in his back pocket, police said.
Police filed four charges again him, including criminal possession of a dangerous weapon."
