http://i34.tinypic.com/2nlh5xd.jpgOne Albuquerque man met his girlfriend's ex-husband for the first time this week; but during the rendezvous the ex was wielding a gun.
His ex-wife was just getting home from work when her former husband of six years, Miguel Pantoja, appeared out of the shadows.
Pantoja was armed with a handgun and forced the woman and their two kids into the home, turned their cell phones off and took them away.
He then told the woman to put the kids to bed, and once asleep he planned to torture her.
Little did Pantoja know that by turning off their phones, he alerted someone that something was awry.
"The current boyfriend becomes a little concerned when he cannot get a hold of her or the kids," police said.
When the boyfriend rushed over, he was met in the driveway by the ex-husband. Pantoja pointed the gun to the boyfriend's head.
Police said that he had threatened to kill them over child support. So the woman told her ex-husband that he wouldn't have to pay anymore. When he finally left, the family called 911.
