12/06/08 -- Man held in sodomy of girl, 3, and boy, 11. Lackawanna police Friday arrested a 20-year-old man accused of sodomizing a 3-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy a total of five times over the last four years.

Detectives charged Carl Holt, of Jackson Street, Lackawanna, with eight felony charges, including two counts of criminal sexual act (sodomy), one count of sexual abuse and five other sex-related offenses. He also faces three misdemeanor charges.

Police accused Holt of sodomizing the girl three times four years ago, before violating the boy twice three years ago.

I'm confused. If the girl is only 3, how did these offenses occur 4 years ago? I'm sure it is just a misprint, but just curious. I swear, these stories are way to frequent.

Probably should have read... the three y/o was sodomized recently with the rest of the offenses going back 4 years. Some bad wording there.
I think is is becoming more frequent to read about these stories. I am not sure if the frequency of them happening has changed much over the last 50-100 years, just reporting of them. Allthough I hate reading that it happened, it is a good thing these fuckers are being blown out of the water before they end up doing it for the rest of their lives. I personally know of an old man who recently got busted diddling a 4 year old and all the people came out and said "he did it to me too, but that was 50 years ago and we didn't talk about it back then."
