The man told authorities the child often initiated the sexual contact with him, including inappropriate touching and oral sex, authorities said.

Michael W. Kelly, 51, was arrested on charges of sexual battery, lewd and lascivious molestation and exhibition, soliciting a minor and showing a minor an obscene movie.

The girl's grandmother found the diary, which detailed her interactions with Kelly, including oral sex performed by him and her as well as watching pornographic films with him.

It really boils my blood when someone says the child came on to them. A selectman in one of our towns out here said the same thing about a 10 year old. I was so upset with the justice system when all he got was three months fully suspended and two years conditional discharge even after publicly saying it was her fault. It's a slap in the face to the victim and victim's family.

If it was true , that usually means , some one had already groomed her. And it was learned behavior pattern. Either way all she really wanted was some damn attention and thats the only way she could get it. Normal 7 year old girls don't want to have oral sex.
I would certainly look further into other men in the girls life. Grandpa can rot in jail for his crimes. Even if she did instigate it he should have helped her instead of taking advantage of her. For fucks sakes shes only 7.

For some reason pedos can never admit what they have done as their fault, if they admit it at all! CT has a specific sex offender program. If an offender is on probation or parole and will not admit what that person has done, they will be violated and put back in jail depending on the P.O. They must submit to lie detector tests, not just to ask if they have engaged in any other predatory activity, but to ask them if they did what they were convicted of.

I agree with the grooming, but I doubt that happens much. Sex offenders (especially against children) are just disgusting. Lower than low. They know all the way it's wrong, but once caught, knowing what they really are has been brought to light for all the world to know will just deny deny deny.
