"In this week's edition of "The Missing," we revisit the case of 18-year-old Christopher Robin Coan, an endangered and missing adult from Cedar City, Utah, who was last seen in September 2007.

"There is a family here that is hurting and they need answers," Private Investigator Marquita "Marki" Davis said in an interview with Investigation Discovery, adding, "Chris is out there somewhere and we are not going to stop until we find him."

According to Marki, on the night of September 3, 2007, Chris completed a three-hour shift at a Subway sandwich shop in Cedar City and walked out the front door, never to be seen again. Normally, Chris would have made the five-mile drive to the small garage apartment he shared with his girlfriend, Sasha Turner, but police found no evidence that he returned home that night. His wallet, which contained $100.00 in cash, along with his bank card, were both later found in the apartment.

Sasha worked a double shift on the night of Chris's disappearance and did not return home until 8:00 am on September 4. It was then that she discovered that Chris was missing and alerted the authorities."

..."so help me if you can
i've got to get
back to the house at pooh corner by one.
you'd be surprised there's so much to be done.
count all the bees in the hive
chase all the clouds from the sky
back to the days of christopher robin, and pooh...."

OK, so everyone had a good laugh. That was funny, yes.

But now for real: doesn't anyone wonder what happened to this boy? I do. Thanks for posting Raven. I always wonder what happens to people who drop off the face of the earth. Just today CNN had a front page story about a guy who disappeared in 1977 and his remains were just found in a canal in Florida. It seems most of them turn up eventually, but not usually in very good circumstances.:dong:

One of the comments on David Lohr's site about this case referring to Roan's girlfriend's Myspace page : http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=12603601

"I think they need to look a bit closer at his girlfriend. It seems weird that her photos contain only one photo of Chris and the rest are her all jacked up on drugs.

From one LSD user to another, I took that crap when I was a teenager, and I had seen and done some crazy crap. From both their myspace profiles it seems they were into some partying and I bet he Chris took to much or had a bad trip and his girlfriend knows more about it."

Look at her photos, the words she write underneith them, the girl is losing her mind, and one of the signs that a person has something to hide, is when they no longer show remorse, or show grief, like removing photos of the person they hurt.

Just like Casey did Caylee after Caylee left, she took all of Caylee photo of her page, and tried to start over. It seems like Chris's girlfriend, has started over and removed him from her life except for one photo, and that is the missing poster photo."

I realise you are just quoting what this Kigyty person is saying, and I confess I have not been on the MySpace in question; but is it not possible that what the girlfriend is doing is grieving for the boyfriend who left her and trying to move on?

She does not have to be involved in the disappearance to feel guilty about not being there to prevent whatever happened, and I would imagine she might feel anger at him for "leaving" her as well. Difficult cocktail to swallow at that age, even without drugs or direct culpability......

P.S. I am assuming the police have checked on that double shift she worked that night and that her alibi works out.

I don't think she had anything to do with it. I think he got mugged and killed or
partied with the wrong people and ended up dead....he could've even picked up a murderous hitch hiker.

Read her March 2008 blog as well as her April 2006 blog.

Here's a few excerpts from the March 11, 2008 blog:

and chris going missing without a trace is the worst possible thing that could have ever happend to me, I never exspected it. it was like a piano falling on me you know like in the cartoons. No one understands how much I miss chris or how much I really love chris. I can say that as much as I want and you will still just blow it off, like "oh man that sucks for her", or "I feel bad for her". but you really don't understand, and I don't exspect you to, you couldn't unless this had happend to you. oh and I don't want pity so if thats all you have to give, just don't talk to me alright, I don't mean to sound bitchy or anything I just don't like pity or people feeling bad for me or blah blah blah. so just please don't. It pisses me off. in fact don't even think about me at all. think about chris thats the way it should be.

so as of updates on chris the last sighting of his car was in january at a car wash in silver city new mexico, the lady that saw chris's car had seen it at that car wash 3 different times, and the only reason she reconized it was because she was animal control and had gotten one of the flyers in a fax. but there hasn't been any new sighting of Christopher Robin himself. but that makes 2 different people that have sighted his car in silver city new mexico and at different times. and do you know what the police are doing about it.....absolutly nothing! fucking sons a bitches. but a league of Private Investigators has taken the case and are doing a kick ass job. the police had dropped the case and it became a "cold case" What the fuck? right! then this really nice lady named Marki (PI) took the case. like only a few weeks ago and already they are getting more shit then the police did. bad ass right? anyway thats the only update I have for you at this moment.... I'm sorry I never updated anyone, I get all emotinal when I'm talking about chris, then I get mad because nothing has been done, and he's still missing. so yeah. oh yeah and if you were wondering chris and I have been dating ever since january 16th 2006. so not that longish. and alot of people have been telling me to move on. But I'm not going to. and thats that!

Glad to see you here Mark :hello: And that you have a sense of humor! :biggrin2:

What I find odd is if was last seen leaving work....did he go home then? Why else would his wallet be at his apartment with his money in it? The car is gone too right? Has there been activity on his SSN or cards? Obviously I'm sure they've checked that, I just didn't see it mentioned.

As far as his pizza faced GF, something does seem odd. Does she have no creative originality? Every pic caption is from some super trippin' 60'70's song  Just odd she barely mentions him, and the comment on her "about me" regarding him being missing is casual and almost like she's being humorous about it. All this pics of her zitty face and none of him??

I am inclined to agree with that.

What I meant was that it should be quite easy to eliminate the girl-friend from the list of suspects. Someone further up the thread thought she might have something to do with it......

I admit my first thought was the whole Winnie the Pooh thing.

The girlfriend's myspace does seem hinky to me. Her post about him missing is kind of odd. It's like she was "hounded" into saying something.

Welcome Marki PI. I'm interested to hear about his SS#, car, etc.

Update: Found Dead

Cedar City -- The body of a Enoch teen who disappeared in 2007 was found Wednesday in a car that apparently rolled down a cliff.

The body is believed to be that of 18-year-old Christopher Robin Coan.

A man was searching for his dog in Right Hand Canyon about 7 miles east of Cedar City when he came upon a wrecked car and informed the authorities. Searchers reached the car early Thursday and found one body in the car, said Enoch Police Chief David Browning. Clothing on the body matched descriptions of what Coan was wearing when he disappeared Sept. 3, 2007, after leaving a Subway sandwich shop in Cedar City, Browning said.

The vehicle identification number on the wrecked maroon and silver Chevrolet Blazer matches Coan's car, Browning said.

The car was about 1,500 feet from the winding mountain road, Browning said.

Browning said Coan's family has been notified. They were shocked but hoped the news would bring closure, Browning said.

Law enforcement and Coan's family have been searching for him since the night he disappeared. Search teams combed Iron County's many canyons and wide back country. Enoch police pursued tips from the pubic -- all of which appear to have been false.

One tip said Coan and his Blazer were at a Park City gas station a few days after his disappearance. An animal control officer in Silver City, N.M., thought she spotted the Blazer there.

*I'm tired cut me some slack* So his car and body(well...wouldn't they say "remains now?) has been there this whole time. In some ways I am happy that now his Family knows but at the same time it has to be heartbreaking. At least with leads, false leads included, you have hope.

Browning said even though he was 18, Coan had just received his driver license and was not an experienced driver.

"That road is steep with sharp curves where you have to go from driving 45 [mph] to 15 really fast," he said.

Browning said he has looked all over Iron County for Coan, including along the road past the place where the Blazer was found.

"You couldn't see the vehicle from the road," said Browning. "It's just too deep a thicket."
Everything that could have gone bad happened together. Bummer. I'm glad his friends and family will no longer have to wonder.
