I was unable to find this video on YouTube and couldn't seem to figure out how to embed it from this site. If someone can figure that out and embed the video here, that would be fantastic.

Video at link: Man's dogs greeting him after returning from 14 months in Iraq. Check it out!

Thank You, Thank You, Thank you....I NEEDED that! I love dogs. They're loving and nonjudgemental. These dogs look like my Sparky. He was the border collie that we had when the kids were growing up. My son learned to walk holding onto Sparkys collar. The dog would walk very patiently and slowly. Walks with Sparky were ALWAYS an adventure. He'd about yank my arm off. But I only had to hand the leash to one of the kids and he would suddenly turn into the most sedate, patient dog there ever was.

My daughter was attacked by two large black labs one day just past our house when she was 4. I don't think that they meant to hurt her but they (each one) was at least twice her tiny size and they were jumping on her. I ran out front upon hearing her screams. That was the day that I found out that my little border collie COULD jump the fence, he just never had. A black and white streak flashed past me as I ran down the walk. And, yes, he took on BOTH of them. Each dog was also twice his size.
My daughter was inseparable from that dog from then on until the day he died (almost 11 years later). Then she was heartbroken.
Thanks again for the video. I'm going to send it on to my daughter.

Let's just hope I embedded it correctly. Anyway, type in "Dogs Greeting Owner' on you tube and there are several just like it.

I think the only thing missing from this "lump in your throat, feel good vid" are the cries of joy the dogs were making.

Thanks for sharing.

You can feel the love. One of those dogs had its tail going so fast it was almost a blur.
